Has anyone dealt with a proposed home in a 100 yr floodplain. If so, how did your CC handle the project? Is the building inspector supposed to make the decision about this or the CC?
We have an applicant with a small parcel who is looking to build a home. We advised him to review his alternatives and possibly sell the property back to the original owner. However, the applicant has gone to an engineer and has the necessary calculations. He will be back before the CC shortly. Any info would be appreciated.
